Construction Carbon announce the launch of its independent Life Cycle Assessor Foundation Training programme

Construction Carbon is thrilled to announce the launch of its independent Life Cycle Assessor Foundation Training programme. This course marks the first step towards an accredited Life Cycle assessor training programme, developed in collaboration with CIBSE Training, delivered with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, and supported by the Laudes Foundation.

As the industry matures, the challenge now is taking the latest guidance and ensuring that this is applied to projects in a consistent manner. Embracing this responsibility, Construction Carbon has assembled a team of leading industry experts, including Simon Sturgis, Jane Anderson, Pat Hermon, and Leonardo Poli, as well as several of the Introba LCA team to design and deliver a life cycle assessor foundation training programme.

The programme is structured to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to consistently assess and optimise the environmental impacts of construction projects throughout their entire life cycle. Participants will gain an understanding of sustainable practices, environmental assessment methodologies, and the latest tools used in the construction industry.

Key highlights of the programme include:

Expert Guidance: Learn from the best in the field as our course contributors, Simon Sturgis, Jane Anderson, Pat Hermon, and Leonardo Poli, bring decades of combined expertise and the latest standards to the training.

Comprehensive Curriculum: Delve into various aspects of life cycle assessment, carbon footprinting, and sustainable strategies to make informed decisions for sustainable construction projects.

Industry Collaboration: In partnership with the CIBSE Training and the Supply Chain Sustainability School, Construction Carbon ensures that the programme adheres to the highest industry standards and best practices.

Practical Exercises: Engage in real-world case studies and hands-on exercises to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded professionals, industry leaders, and potential employers to expand your professional network.
